Program
Quaker Service: A Way of Being, Not Just Doing
Join us to consider the ways in which we come to know more deeply and to testify to God's Transforming Presence through our witness. How is service a spiritual practice, central to our Quaker faith? How do we participate in service in such a way that respects and honors all people and all creation.
Together we will explore what Rufus Jones calls Friends' "prophetic service" - past, present and future. We will explore our own personalunderstandings of and experiences with service and witness and ways we might supporteach other in our leadings. Our time together will include a special break out room for
young Friends to consider Christina’s message with Christina while adults meet separately.
